Child Care Teacher II 
The City operates two child care centers, Menlo Children's Center for children 18 months - 5 years old, and state subsidized Belle Haven Child Development Center for ages 3 - 5.  Currently, the position is available at the Belle Haven Child Development Center. Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills are a plus.

Construction Inspector
The ideal candidate shall be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.  He or she shall be capable of effectively evaluating field problems and submitting competent recommendations to his or her supervisor.  He or she shall have a good working knowledge of construction practices and testing of construction materials, and understand/practice using project technical specifications and construction contract provisions to ensure quality public infrastructure is built.

Librarian I/II, Library Assistant II, Senior Librarian

The library system is entering an exciting period of growth and change with three new full-time positions approved by the City Council for FY 2018-19.

Public Works Supervisor – Streets 
The ideal candidate shall demonstrate the technical skills necessary to manage the Streets Maintenance Division, including streets, sidewalks, street signs and the storm water system. Candidates shall possess problem solving and analytical skills, be highly organized, have excellent communication skills and show a strong commitment for customer service and producing high quality work. The ideal candidate shall use independent judgement and initiative to manage contractors, supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with other City departments.
