2018 General Election Update

Election Day on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 is fast approaching. Menlo Park has three City Council seats for election in Districts 1, 2, and 4; as well as a city charter measure on the ballot. Nomination and other related papers to run for City Council are available in the City Clerk’s Office. The City Clerk’s Office is open from Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on alternate Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The deadline to submit papers is Friday, August 10, at 5 p.m. and it is recommended that an appointment be made with the City Clerk. To date, six people have pulled papers. 

The deadline to submit primary arguments, for and against the city charter measure, and the impartial analysis is Wednesday, August 15, at 5 p.m. The rebuttal arguments are due Friday, August 24, at 5 p.m.
