Hotel Nia held its opening celebration at 200 Independence Drive this past Thursday, March 29, 2018. Mayor Peter Ohtaki assisted with the ribbon cutting and welcomed residents, business community members and City staff to this new 250-room hotel. The new facility includes the Porta Blu restaurant, as well as event space. The hotel operators report strong initial interest and bookings.

Hotel Nia is part of the Menlo Gateway development, which was approved by Menlo Park voters in 2010 through the passage of Measure T.
