Storytimes

Storytime promotes the joy of reading, and helps to develop early literacy skills.
Storytime:
  • Demonstrates that books and reading are fun
  • Develops listening and pre-reading skills
  • Increases vocabulary
  • Provides socialization with other children
  • Provides a bonding activity between children and adults.
The Menlo Park Main Library offers storytimes for various age groups in monthly, by-registration sessions. Please select the session appropriate for your child's age, and click on the link for more information and to register for the upcoming month. If you are looking for a drop-in experience, please attend our Family or Just for Everybody Storytimes!
Please register for only one morning storytime. Drop-in storytimes are open to all.
