Community Services is responsible for providing recreational, educational and cultural programs for children, adults and seniors. Our facilities include 221 acres of parkland distributed among 13 parks, three community centers, two public pools, three child care centers, two gymnasiums and one gymnastics center. Included in the parks and recreation areas are tennis courts, dog parks, softball diamonds, picnic areas, playgrounds, soccer fields, a skate park, shared use of a performing arts center and open space. The department offers a variety of community classes and over 25 special events annually. These efforts are supported by the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Menlo Park Activity Guide
The Activity Guide is our primary source of recreation and leisure information provided to our residents. The guide is published three times a year and mailed to your home. Guides include classes and information on youth, adult, and seniors including camps, sports, dance, gymnastics, childcare, enrichment, and health & fitness programs. Additionally, find information on seasonal programs and special events for all ages. View the latest activity guide and register online. Hard copies of the guide can be picked up at any recreation facility or City Hall.
