905 for the BMR Housing
Program was adopted by City Council on May 15, 2001 and became
effective on June 15, 2001. This ordinance modifies and
consolidates the previous BMR ordinances.
Plans and Policies
The
Affordable Housing Action Plan was adopted by the City Council
on January 30, 2001. The Affordable Housing Action Plan
makes recommendations which include: the development of work programs
for two proposed, new affordable housing developments (the Hamilton
Avenue Housing Development in Belle Haven and the Oak Grove Plaza
Housing Development in downtown); the identification by the Housing
Commission of a third new affordable housing development; and
making revisions to the BMR Housing Program and the Housing Element.
