City Manager's Office

23, 1927, Menlo Park is a General Law City operating
under the general laws set by the State of California.
Under the City "Council-Manager" form of government,
the City Council sets policies, which are then implemented
by the City Manager, who is selected and serves at the
pleasure of the Council. As the City's executive officer,
the City Manager is responsible for the overall management
of all departments, services, and projects.
Through the City Clerk

for the City Clerk page), the Office of the City Manager
provides administrative support to the City Council
and advisory Commissions. The City Manager's office
also includes the City Attorney function and public
information programs.
