CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE
City Clerk
Located within the
City Manager's Department, the City Clerk's Office is
committed to helping generate "open and fair government".
The office provides administrative and technical support
to the City Council and Commission meeting process.
Using a regular publication of agendas and minutes,
the office serves as the official record keeper for
the actions considered or taken by the Menlo Park City
Council. In this capacity the office also fulfills public
requests for viewing documents ranging from agenda,
minutes, ordinances, resolutions, public notices, and
proclamations.
The City Clerk is also
responsible for running City elections in conjunction
with the County of San Mateo in accordance with requirements
of the State of California Elections Code. The City
Clerk's Office also handles questions regarding the
City Attorney, and is the filing office for forms required
by the Fair Political Practices Commission. The City
Clerk does not provide legal advice to elected officials
or the public.
Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alternate Fridays: Closed
