Teen Services
Menlo Park Community Services
Department has programs geared for teens. All programs
are set up so teens will be with other people their
same age and grade range. We offer a number of programs
focusing on everything from sports and adventure, to
education and career development.

The Teen
Center provides tutoring and educational help along
with pool, foosball, ping pong, game cube, and activities
like cooking. The Center is open Monday - Friday from
3 p.m. - 6 p.m. and special hours depending on school
schedules. This is a collaboration between the Boys
and Girls Club and is housed at The Boys and Girls Club
of America McNeil Club in Menlo Park located just down
the street from Belle Haven School. Cost: Call for more

The Girls Only Program
is designed for young women to get together and have
a good time while exploring different activities and
topics. The girls have learned how to make new dishes,
visited a bear making store, sporting events, and talked
about topics such as dating, grades, and women's issues.
This is open to girls ages 13 - 17 years old. Cost:
FREE
City Teens is a group of
teens that volunteer their time for the community while
having fun and doing special programs. Past activities
have included; volunteering at city sponsored special
events, speaking with members of the community about
teen issues, and assisting organizations with fund raising
activities. City Teens are also eligible for special
trips to fun destinations like Boreal Mountain Resort
and local amusement parks. Teens 14-18 are encouraged
to apply. Some activities may also meet school community
service hour. Cost: FREE
Teen Services has a bunch
of different activities that happen during the month.
Come check out movie nights, our famous dances, trips,
and movie days. The events happen on Friday nights and
Saturdays. Call or check out the web site for details.
