Onetta Harris Community Center
The Onetta Harris Community Center is located at 100 Terminal Ave, Menlo Park, CA 94025 next to the Belle Haven Pool, Menlo Park Senior Center, Beechwood School, and the newly renovated Kelly Park. The OHCC offers rentals for Menlo Park residents and non-residents. The center features a multi-purpose room, kitchen, gymnasium, computer lab, fitness center, conference room, pre-school room, and two classrooms. Additionally, the OHCC is home to various City of Menlo Park programs and special events which have included, Multi-Cultural Days, Teen Dances, Camp OHCC, Game Nights, Career Fairs, Holiday Celebrations, Community Classes, and Meetings. Our most popular room offers
versatility and easy access to the kitchen, along with a
private bathroom. Everything from wedding receptions to
community meetings can comfortably be held in this setting.

The OHCC kitchen comes equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, and a refrigerator/freezer. The Kitchen is included in the rental of the Multi-Purpose Room and is not reserved separately.

The newly renovated OHCC gymnasium can hold large events such as tournaments, civic events, and large organizational gatherings. Easy access to the exterior, and full bathrooms make it perfect for your large event. The gym features one full court or two smaller courts, male and female locker rooms, and a scoreboard (prior approval needed to operate). Fully extendable bleacher system gives seating for 100+. No food is allowed inside the gymnasium. The gymnasium can also be used for badminton, indoor soccer, and assemblies.

The conference room is perfect for meetings. The room is equipped with a dry erase board and TV/DVD combo to insure an effective meeting.

Both OHCC classrooms offer pleasant settings for small meetings or activities. Each room is also outfitted with a large dry erase board to capture brainstorming sessions or ideas. Classroom #2 comes equipped with a sink.

The fitness center at Onetta Harris
offers users a combination of free-weights and weight machines.
For cardio work outs, users have a choice of exercise bikes,
step and elliptical machines. For just $1 a workout this is

The computer lab offers eight web accessible computers linked to a printer. Users can surf the web for information and fun, use the word-processing and spreadsheet programs and produce documents all in one place. |
