BURGESS School Year Childcare (2006-2007)

Burgess School Age Program (Lic. #41400203) provides a fun, enriching and educational program for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. A variety of recreation classes such as dance, soccer, gymnastics, tennis, math, science, swimming and basketball skill classes (depending on the season) are offered for an additional fee. Transportation is provided from Laurel, Encinal, and Oak Knoll School in the Menlo Park City Elementary School District. Children attending other schools are accepted, but transportation is not provided.

Menlo Children's Center (Summer 2007)

Sunshine Summer Camp is a recreational school age summer camp sponsored through the City of Menlo Park. Our campers are offered an exciting way to spend their summer through a variety of activities. A variety of activities such as arts/crafts, sports, indoor/outdoor activities, recreation swim, swim lessons, enrichment classes, cooking projects and bi-weekly BBQs are offered. In addition to daily activities, campers take weekly field trips to places such as Raging Waters, Happy Hollow, Great America, Santa Cruz, Bonfonte Gardens, and Bowling. This summer a Transitional Kindergarten Program will be offered for children entering kindergarten.

Belle Haven School Year (2006-2007)

The Belle Haven School-Age Child Care Program is licensed by the Department of Social Services (LIC # 410518904) to serve the Belle Haven Community in Menlo Park. The program serves working families who desire a fun, safe, structured environment where children can learn at their own developmental pace. The program staff helps to establish partnerships with the children's elementary school and parents to enhance all areas of children's learning. We provide a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, while bridging the gap between home and school. A balance of educational, social and recreational opportunities are offered. A daily nutritional snack is provided.

FEES: 1st to 6th grade: $386 per month; subsidized fee: $42-$126 monthly based upon family income and family size. Non-residents pay 35% higher.
