• Recommends action on Rezoning proposals and Conditional Development Permits.
• Takes action on Variances.
• Considers and recommends action on Environmental Impact Reports and Subdivisions.
• Initiates special area planning and rezoning studies; monitors the changing needs of the City in relationship to the General Plan as well as the recommendations of the General Plan amendments.
  

Schedule

The Planning Commission Regular Meetings are scheduled twice a month. The Planning Commission Study Meetings are scheduled as needed and can be added to a regular meeting date or on an additional Monday. Please see the schedule below for exact dates.

The Commission meetings are held in the City Council Chambers and begin at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise specified. For more information on the Planning Commission meeting schedule and to confirm that the meeting will take place, call the Planning Division at 650-330-6702. Staff Support: Deanna Chow.
